Introduction and Overview
Products manufactured in Helsingborg are mostly over-the-counter pharmaceuticals and are produced, tested and released according to good manufacturing practices (GMP). The Quality department is responsible for the quality management system that ensures that the requirements set by health authorities worldwide are followed to assure save and compliant products. Furthermore, the team, which consists of 10 experienced and knowledgeable colleagues, is responsible for critical GMP systems at the manufacturing site.
Manager Quality Systems & Compliance
The Manager for Quality System (QS) and Compliance reports to the Director of Quality. The Manager is responsible for coaching the QS and Compliance team, which is responsible for several areas, such as; validation, training, self-inspection and liaison with external customers.
Objectives of the Position
Manages a team of 10 highly specialized associates.
Leading the continuous improvement of processes in order to meet future needs.
Responsible for assuring that the resources match the responsibilities and workload of the team.
Responsible for recruitment, training, employee development and the work environment.
Participates in internal and external inspections.
Approves GMP documents, such as; SOPs, specifications, methods, validation documents and rationales.
Financial responsibility for the cost center of the QS & Compliance team.
Qualifications
Preferably a Masters’ degree. (E.g. in Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent subjects)
Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing (>5 yrs)
Good knowledge of computerized systems
Good understanding of GMP
Proficient written and spoken Swedish and English
What you will need to succeed
To succeed in this role, it is important to be able to coach, lead and set directions for the team to excel in compliance and meet future needs. Furthermore, extensive experience, knowledge of GMP environment and hands on experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing and related quality attributes would contribute highly in succeeding in this role.
