We are looking for a CAE Engineer to our Mechanical Engineering team. As our CAE Engineer you will play a vital role in developing our future products in close collaboration with our team of experienced engineers. Your primary task will be to perform simulations, but you will also be a part of setting up and developing our FEA capabilities within the company. In addition, you will also support and educate our teams in your area of expertise and help us identify important external partners on our way to a more sustainable future.

What we would like you to have
M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar with FE analysis as specialty

Experience from Altair’s simulation platform (Hyperworks, SimSolid)
Experience from developing and setting up simulation capabilities

We are expanding our product development department and hiring a talented Electromechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic electrical engineering team. As a Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge energy solutions and products.
What you’ll be doing
You will be developing and designing electrical & mechanical components and solutions tailored for heat pumps focusing on 3D representation and 3D routing of internal wire harnesses. Your work will ensure that our solutions exceed our customers' needs and requirements. From concept development to detailed design, testing, verification, documentation, and preparation for manufacturing, you will be a key contributor throughout the entire development phase.
In our exciting journey of growth, you will wield a substantial influence on working practices and technology choices. Your role will be crucial in shaping the design of Aira’s heat pump, making impactful decisions in product development, and assuming a leadership position in creating our innovative products. Moreover, you will be instrumental in our mission to make an environmental and sustainable impact in the world.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Developing and designing electrical assemblies, Bill of Materials, components, and solutions specifically tailored for heat pumps.
Creating comprehensive technical documentation, including 3D models and drawings. Proficiency with PLM tools and Solidworks is advantageous.
Design of internal wire harness in routed in 3D environment.
Actively participating in project meetings and providing regular reports to product management.
Collaborating seamlessly with other engineering disciplines and the product development team to ensure our solutions align with customers' needs, requirements, regulatory standards, and conformance.
Exploring innovative materials, including but not limited to plastic and sheet metal, to enhance the quality and sustainability of our products.

What you bring to the team
Experience working with product development, and electrical and mechanical design of household products is an advantage.
Experience working with 3D tools to design electrical connections and cable routing in a 3D environment. Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar are meritorious.
Experience with LVD & EN60335-1, RED & EMC directives, and knowledge & familiarity with regulatory certification requirements & compliance.

About the Role
Our R&D team, consisting of over 80 talented specialists across our Stockholm and Helsingborg sites, is growing. We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide 3rd line technical support for our advanced heat pump systems, ensuring optimal performance and installation across multiple countries. You will be key to resolving complex issues and enhancing the customer experience, playing a critical role in Aira's success.
What you will be doing as a Technical Support Specialist:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex heat pump issues escalated by product specialists and technicians in the UK, Germany, and Italy.
Analyse data, graphs, and system behaviour to identify the root cause of problems.
If needed, assist with conducting lab and field tests to replicate issues and collaborate with stakeholders to develop lasting solutions.
Occasionally travel to hubs to provide hands-on support and gather insights on installation practices across different countries.
Communicate technical findings clearly, write guides, and create detailed documentation to share knowledge across internal teams and hubs.
Provide both hardware and software support, ensuring seamless integration of the two.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve technical issues related to hardware and software on their side.

What we would like you to have as a Technical Support Specialist:
Strong knowledge of heat pump systems is essential.
Experience in technical support roles, particularly in 3rd line support.

About the role
Our Test and Verification Department is expanding, and we are looking for a Test and Verification Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will primarily focus on conducting tests and measurements in our lab and analyzing the results. You will actively set up and operate heat pumps under various conditions while performing electrical and mechanical tests, as well as minor modifications to heat pump systems. Collaboration with the refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical teams will be a key part of your responsibilities.
What you will be doing:
Setting up, connecting, and conducting tests and measurements.
Troubleshooting system issues, including both hardware and software.
Performing minor modifications to heat pump systems.
Analyzing measurement data to draw actionable conclusions.
Writing detailed test reports and documentation.

About the role
Our Product and Development department is growing, and we're in search of a Measurement and Test Engineer. Your main role involves conducting lab measurements and analyzing results for product development of heat pumps. You'll set up and operate heat pumps in various conditions, along with performing electrical, acoustic, and mechanical tests.
Your early involvement allows you to influence processes and tech choices, playing a crucial role in product design and decision-making. You will help create and lay the foundation for both the product and the team culture.
Currently, our laboratory is located in Markaryd, but we will be relocating to a new office in Helsingborg in June 2024.
What you will be doing:
Connecting heat pumps to various measurement systems.
Setting up and conducting measurements.
Resolving system issues, encompassing hardware and software.

Preparing reports.

About a Technical Project Manager role
As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead the development of a new range of heating products that enhance our current lineup, ensuring they meet established standards and requirements.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire product development process -encompassing hardware, software, components, and manufacturing. You will gather input and internal needs, translating them into functional requirements for potential suppliers. Additionally, you’ll coordinate the integration process, providing regular updates and clear communication to stakeholders.
A key aspect of your role will be cross-functional collaboration, working closely with the hardware R&D team in Helsingborg, the software R&D and procurement teams in Stockholm, the factory in Poland, and external suppliers. Vi söker en praktiskt lagd och duktig montör till vårt nya laboratorium i Helsingborg. I vårt lab kommer duatt arbeta nära våra konstruktörer och kylingenjörer för att bygga prototyper av luft-vattenvärmepumpar. En stor del av arbetet handlar också om att utveckla och installera testutrustning och annan utrustning för vårt labb, där du samarbetar med resten av teamet.

About the role
Our R&D team, comprised of over 80 talented specialists across our Stockholm and Helsingborg sites, is expanding, and we’re looking for a Test and Verification Engineer to join us. In this role, you will conduct lab tests and measurements essential for the product development of heat pumps, including setting up and operating heat pumps under various conditions.
Our lab handles a wide range of tests, including refrigeration performance, electrical testing, functional system tests, and mechanical evaluations. You will actively participate in all phases of our product development projects.
What you will be doing
Conduct tests on products and components, including the hydraulic and electrical setup of heat pumps.
Analyze measurement data and compile detailed test reports.
Stay current with the latest best practices in hardware and software testing.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop test cases and procedures.

What we are looking for
Experience working in a laboratory or test facility.
Proven experience in testing hardware products.
Familiarity with heat pumps and electronics is a plus.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards, such as those for heat pumps, tap water, LVD, and/or EMC.

About the role
As the Operations Manager, you will ensure the smooth operations of our laboratory and oversee all tests conducted therein. You will drive technical troubleshooting, as well as planning, follow-up, and reporting.

About the role
We are expanding our Product and Development department and are looking for one or two skilled Refrigeration Engineer/Specialist to join our Refrigeration team in Helsingborg. Your primary focus will be on developing and designing heat pump refrigeration circuits regarding performance and reliability. In this role you will have the opportunity to make key decisions in our product development and play an essential role in the creation of our product. You will also proactively monitor and track changing requirements and propose improvements accordingly. You'll be an integral part of a forward-thinking team characterized by passion, resilience, and exceptional individuals with strong intellects and compassionate hearts.
Other responsibilities included in the role:
Provide technical support and guidance to the team
Determine necessary tests and evaluations and analysing the results
Collaborate with external partners and suppliers
Propose and implement solutions aligning seamlessly with functionality, cost, quality, and user requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

Master's degree or PhD in the related field
Good or solid knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration processes, and thermodynamics
Experience of using CFD and CAD tools and methods
Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems


It’s also beneficial if you have some of the following:
Experience in testing and validation
Knowledge of European standards relevant to refrigeration systems and heat pumps
Understand the development processes for volume products

About the role?

We are expanding our product development department and are actively looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic mechanical engineering team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge energy solutions and products.

Your Responsibilities

You will be developing and designing mechanical components and solutions tailored for heat pumps. Your work will ensure that our solutions not only meet but exceed our customers' needs and requirements. From concept development to detailed design, testing, verification, documentation, and preparation for manufacturing, you will be a key contributor throughout the entire development phase.

In our exciting journey of growth, you will wield a substantial influence on working practices and technology choices. Your role will be crucial in shaping the design of Aira’s heat pump, making impactful decisions in product development, and assuming a leadership position in creating our innovative products. Moreover, you will be instrumental in our mission to make an environmental and sustainable impact in the world.

What You Will Be Doing

- Developing and designing mechanical components and solutions specifically tailored for heat pumps.

- Creating comprehensive technical documentation, including 3D models and drawings. Proficiency with PLM tools and Solidworks is advantageous.

- Conducting design calculations and simulations to ensure the robustness and efficiency of your designs.

- Actively participating in project meetings and providing regular reports to product management.

- Collaborating seamlessly with other engineering disciplines and the product development team to ensure our solutions align with customers' needs, requirements, regulatory standards, and conformances.

- Exploring innovative materials, including but not limited to plastic and sheet metal, to enhance the quality and sustainability of our products.
