Purpose Statement
Clinical Sales Representative (CSR) provides clinical support to assigned accounts at a territory or regional level. Work is driven by CSR’s account planning of their accounts (T1 & T2), Customer needs and by selling the next case through BSC sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Supported by AM, contributes to the development of annual strategic plan by providing RSM, NSM and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.g. market size and potential, market / products trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, updated clinical and economic stakeholders).
The would normally divide their time between 80/90% Clinical & 20/10% Sales
Supports RSM’s in understanding account’s unmet needs and expectations to facilitate account strategy and plans development.
Support of medical personnel and field staff during procedures after careful training
Competent contact person and consultant for the medical management and medical staff
Identifies, manages and reports to the RSM the sales opportunity deriving from clinical support; consequently, supports AM and RSM in clinical selling based on clinical support information provided.
Provides education support?.
Maintains market share at BSC accounts by delivering excellent product in-servicing, evaluations, and continuous procedural education. ?
Attends and actively participates in customer, company and industry sponsored events and meetings. ?
Based on clinical support, supports sales team in gathering information about next tenders and negotiation opportunities.
Develops and implements a proactive plan that involves service support, with Regional Sales Manager and team members, to increase the quality of service to customers.
Performs procedural training, provides clinical support and therapy development and consequently manages clinical evaluation, with AM support, to deliver excellent product in-servicing and product evaluations and ultimately secure BSC market share.
Records customer information and activities in Company’s CRM system as an alignment tool with other roles
Performs periodic update with respective Sales Force and Commercial Contracting organization.


Previous experience as a Physician or Doctor preferred but not essential.

Urology and Pelvic Health (UroPH) as an EMEA growth lab and significant business driver, is in the fortunate position to have an increasing share of highly innovative therapies in our product portfolio - as well as a strong pipeline of innovations within the next three years.


In order to ensure that we can maximise the impact of these innovative product ranges, we are recruiting a National Sales Manager to lead our Nordics team, to deliver a solid foundation for future growth. This person will enable the UroPH division to accelerate on our customer centricity journey to distinguish ourselves from competition in providing customer excellence and value. The Nordics region is one of the key focus areas for BSC in EMEA, with significant opportunities for growth in several franchises we serve.

Role requirements:
Experience with managing a diverse team: Develop and motivate a dedicated team of Regional Sales Managers.
Creation and execution of business strategies: prepare and execute the annual operating plan in line with the mid-to long term divisional and EMEA business plans
Leadership and people management skills
Experience in medical environment and with implantable medical devices and a solid expertise related to the healthcare systems across the Nordics region (reimbursement, pricing, etc). UroPH experience is preferred but not essential.
Proven experience of working in a matrix environment with cross-divisions across the Nordics and throughout EMEA
Expert in networking and influencing internal and external stakeholders
Proven experience in good decision-making skills and strategic business vision
Excellence and Proficiency of P&L management: financial and budgeting aspects
Local , Nordics language skills are essential together with fluency, written and spoken in English
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent negotiating skills
Master strategy execution


Profile:
Ability to recognize and assess business obstacles, develop alternative solutions, share solutions within the broader organization and create and maintain positive team energy
Excellent communication and organizational skills and can deal with ambiguity and multiple demands
Hands on approach to leadership (hence the substantial time spent in the field with the sales force and to maintain strong KOL relationships)
Set an example and lead from the front
Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives
Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo
Minimum of Bachelors’ degree (advanced degree would be a plus)
Strategic leadership
Track record in driving execution and change management
Track record in effectively managing sales managers is a plus
