Vi tror att du har en viss arbetslivserfarenhet inom serviceyrket med fördjupning inom IT. Du har utmärkta språkkunskaper i såväl engelska som svenska, både skriftligt och muntligt. Det viktigaste är att du är nyfiken och vill leverera hög servicenivå.

Modis Life Science is now looking for a consultant for an assignment as a Principal Scientist -Analytical chemist to be based in Helsingborg, Sweden. This is a consultancy assignment for 15 months and you will be hired by Modis. If you find the role interesting, send your application asap!

The Analytical Lifecycle Management team is responsible for the OTC products worldwide. The principal scientist will work within the analytical section and support marketed OTC products primarily within EMEA/APAC but also globally. You will be in a regional team of 6 analytical colleagues and you will report to an Associate Director. The role will be in Helsingborg, but you will have extensive everyday contacts with external and internal manufacturers, CROs and colleagues all over the world.

Together with your colleagues you will provide desktop analytical support for a series of projects associated with the currently marketed OTC products.

Technical support will include but not be limited to:

• Support analytical test method trouble shooting

• Support analytical test method improvement and validation

• Support analytical test method transfers

• Manage CROs and other external partners

• Manage change control deliverables and CAPA activities relating to analytical testing and transfers

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master of Science within a relevant chemistry or pharmaceutical area

• 5 + years of experience in an analytical laboratory role with a major emphasis on analytical method development, optimization and product testing

• Demonstrated experience and deep knowledge within HPLC/UPLC, dissolution and other major analytical techniques

• Able to grasp, understand and translate complex problems into explicit work packages

• Since the product portfolio is global, a broad knowledge of worldwide requirements is a plus. Activities are, to a large extent, outsourced and experience in working with contract development/research organizations is a merit.

Modis Life Science is looking for an Principal Scientist - Analytical Chemistry to a global pharmaceutical company. This is a consultancy assignment that will start spring 2019 until end of 2019. The consultant is to be located in Helsingborg, Sweden, Val-de-Reuil, France or Maidenhead, UK.

This consultant will work within the Global Technical Operations (GTO) analytical section and support marketed OTC products primarily within the EMEA/APAC regions. A close collaboration with internal and external manufacturers, CROs, the GTO formulation development and the GTO deployment organisation will be important

General Job Scope:
To provide desktop support mainly for analytical test method transfers but also for analytical method development, method validation and quality control activities for a series of product transfers.

Quality and Technical desktop support would include but not be limited to:
• Manage multiple CROs and other external partners simultaneously
• Support analytical test method transfers
• Support product manufacturing transfer from analytical perspective
• Support analytical test method trouble shooting
• Support or initiate analytical test method improvement and validation
• Manage the testing requirements for product, raw material and packaging components to relevant GMP standards
• Manage change control deliverables and CAPA activities relating to analytical testing and transfers

Experience Required:
Educational – Minimum of a Master´s degree with a major in chemistry or related sciences.
Work Experience and personal characteristics required:
• A minimum of 5 years in an analytical laboratory role supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing, product development or quality assurance with a major emphasis on analytical method development, optimization, validation, verification, transfer and product testing. Experience with multi-ingredient liquid and solid-dose formulations essential
• Experience and deep knowledge with HPLC/UPLC, GC, dissolution and other major analytical techniques
• You need to be an innovative and a creative problem solver who can work independently, while managing multiple priorities successfully. The ability to influence others without direct line authority is highly preferred. You need to have both a team spirit and leadership skills. Strong written and oral communication skills are highly valued. Experience from working in a matrix organization is desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality and regulatory compliance knowledge, pharmacopeia including USP, EP, ICH/WHO guidelines and good understanding of GxP systems
• Technical writing and documentation review abilities
