WE LOOK FOR
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Biologist to join our team. As a Biologist at AgriClima Consulting AB, you will be a key contributor to EU projects. Throughout your work, you will harness the double values of microalgae - as nutrient remediators, biomass and food producers.
The position involves:
Solid understanding of experimental design, data quality and result interpretation
Effective communication with the ability to present biological findings clearly and confidently
Well-organized, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team
Show interest in automation, and data-driven experimental design.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, independence, and collaborative spirit.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
· BSc in Biology, Bioscience, Biotechnology, Food Science, Biochemical engineering, Biochemistry or a related field
· One year of practical experience with unicellular organisms and/or food production
· Microalgae production, processing, and transformation into food is an added value
· Molecular biology techniques such as ELISA, RT-PCR, and Western Blot are an added value
· Experience with in vivo experiments is a plus
· Demonstrate the ability to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot experimental protocols.
· Team collaboration in research and development environments
· Performing any other activities as requested by AgC.

McNeil AB, a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies is recruiting for a Post Doc in the Microbiology/Biology/Biochemistry/Biotech area with focus on Probiotics.We are part of a global Consumer Product / Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medicines Company with R&D sites in Europe, North America, Latin America and in Asia. This recruitment is at our McNeil site in Helsingborg, Sweden. The postdoctoral scientist will participate in research activities related to “bio” science, e.g. human microbiome with focus on exploration of probiotics in digestive disorders, specifically Irritable Bowel Syndrome – IBS and mode of action of selected probiotics strains.McNeil AB has a long history of successful development of Smoking Cessation products, Nicorette®. Since 2010, the R&D group has also gained the responsibility to develop new non-prescription products for the global market for other therapeutic areas such as Cough & Cold and Digestive Healthcare. Some other larger brands in these areas are Imodium®, Microlax®, Olynth® and Benylin®Key ResponsibilitiesThe Postdoctoral Scientist will work closely with other experts and scientists within the global/regional and local R&D organization. He/She is expected to contribute significantly to the research in the field of focus, “mode of action of probiotics for IBS”. Contacts and collaboration with external academic leaders as well as cross-functional contacts within McNeil Helsingborg and the broader J&J community outside of Helsingborg will be important.
