Job Description
We are looking for a Product Requirement Engineer(PRE) to our home textiles range that can translate customer’s wishes into technical requirements. This assignment is a cover for a maternity leave until September 2024.
You will be responsible to identify and develop product requirements with an aim to make our products sustainable, safe and sellable for all our markets and, of course, loved by our customers.
As PRE you will be the requirement specialist in the product development team and in the team your contribution will be essential so you together can meet the expectations of our customers. Furthermore, you will build a strong relationship with Requirement development department and as well as stakeholders in our purchasing organisation to secure understanding of the product requirements and ensure a successful implementation.
In this assignment your main responsibilities will be:
Identify and connect legal and market specific requirements on products
Develop durability and functional tests that resemble real life usage for the lifetime of the product
Communicate the technical requirements/test methods to stakeholders e.g. product development team, engineers from purchasing organisation and test labs

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a University Degree in Textile Engineering and a couple of years of experience from working with product development and/or creating and documenting product requirements. In the product requirement engineering field you are regarded as experienced with the ability to lead yourself and drive initiatives from start to finish within your scope. You have good analytical skills and you know how to coordinate, lead and inspire others. You have a passion for sharing knowledge and the ability to explain complex matters in an easy way. Textiles are being used in a lot of our products across the IKEA product range, and to be able to do this in a good way we need to take full ownership of the fabric developments. As part of our Textile Development function, we are developing on demand for the different IKEA product range areas and setting fabric standards for the whole of IKEA. Job Description
The assignment includes:
In a close dialog with stakeholders, create and shape business and IT-related ideas into current state, future state and transition states to guide the detailed design and delivery of business solutions.
You will be responsible for detailing IT functional and non-functional requirements, for given business requirements, in the business solution development process.
To secure, develop and review high-level design; approve low-level design of the solution; and provide guidance towards service improvements and service transition.
To secure that IT solutions, in scope, fulfil the agreed functional and non-functional business requirements.
Govern that the design of the IT solutions conforms to the solution architecture and is efficient, meet business requirements and is based on a holistic architecture.
You will be responsible for securing the architecture vision and goals of the Delivery & Settlement area in the solution architecture and the system development process.
In close collaboration with IT architects, lead solution activities within the domain; establish solution/infrastructure design in accordance to the architecture; define and design the data exchange aspect of information flows between solutions; and provide technology advice.


Qualifications

Experienced and knowledgeable in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) product and related family of products.

Preferably experience in transformation of OTM on-premise solution to OTM Cloud solution including designing external components in Azure/Oracle PaaS to handle OTM customizations.

About the role:

As an Architect in Customer meeting points you:
Lead IKEA expansion projects by delivering according to our processes together with peers across the totality of IKEA.
Take an active role in the team and collaborate with other retail architects in various projects and activities.
Contribute in the development of frameworks (consisting of requirements, principles and guidelines) for assigned customer meeting points.
Facilitate, plan and produce retail architecture design, in cooperation with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

The IKEA Hybrid Integration Platform (HIP) technology team within technical services are currently seeking a Configuration Lead to work within the team, to ensure that the delivery of our innovative services, are fully managed in-line with IKEA CM standards and procedures. This involves capturing the functional/non-functional requirements, design, and operational information throughout each product’s lifecycle. You will also assist with the development of migration plans and help oversee deployment.
Operationally manage and implement the Configuration Management (CM) processes and procedures.
Enforce Standard Operating Procedures and Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) as required.
Identify, document, and baseline Configuration Items (Cis).
Maintain configuration control for baseline environments.
Ensure all changes to the process methods and processes are properly approved, communicated and managed throughout the CM lifecycle.
Manage and maintain software inventory.
Provide subject matter expertise, direction, and guidance on the toolset utilized.
As part of the CM process, change management operational activities, such as assisting the team with the change request process will also part of your duties.

About the role:

As an Architect in Customer meeting points you:
Lead IKEA expansion projects by delivering according to our processes together with peers across the totality of IKEA.
Take an active role in the team and collaborate with other retail architects in various projects and activities.
Contribute in the development of frameworks (consisting of requirements, principles and guidelines) for assigned customer meeting points.
Facilitate, plan and produce retail architecture design, in cooperation with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Based on your profile we believe that you have one two of the specific competencies:

About the assignment

We provide unique IKEA specialist competence in developing, improving, designing, establishing and operating Customer meeting points (IKEA Stores and places where customer meets IKEA) based on a market approach across all IKEA markets.

We coach, mentor, support and challenge IKEA retailers in their expansion plans.

We cooperate with our IKEA franchisees in 52 countries all over the world. We work in a multicultural environment, were we are comfortable using English (spoken and written) to communicate.  International travel to meet our customers and our business partners is also part of our job.   

About the role:

As an Architect in Customer meeting points you:
Lead IKEA expansion projects by delivering according to our processes together with peers across the totality of IKEA.
Take an active role in the team and collaborate with other retail architects in various projects and activities.
Contribute in the development of frameworks (consisting of requirements, principles and guidelines) for assigned customer meeting points.
Facilitate, plan and produce retail architecture design, in cooperation with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Actively grow and maintain the professional network within physical and digital retail design.
Participate and lead generation thinking in the development of IKEA meeting points in a multi-channel environment.

About you

We are looking to recruit architects with 3 different profiles, or a combination of:
Architect with retail interior design focus
Architect with urban design experience
Architect with retail construction experience
We believe that you meet the following requirements:
Proven skills in creative leadership, used to coach both colleagues as well as customers.
Good understanding of how global trends and developments can impact IKEA, especially in the area of retail, consumer behaviour, digital technology, economy, sustainability, life at home, design, media and communication.
You have the ability to keep the strategic focus and at the same time bring it down to tactical solutions.
You are a driven architect with a genuine interest in exploring and developing retail design with an agile approach.
You have strong interpersonal skills and find it easy to build relationships and earn trust, with an IKEA value based approach. Excellent communication skill and proven experience in both coaching and facilitation.
You are taking responsibility for action and results, making things happen and are interested in solving challenges by thinking flow oriented.
 

Based on your profile we believe that you have one two of the specific competencies:
Degree in architecture (Master degree certificate from an Architecture or Interior Design education or equivalent working experience) and the experience of working as an architect or interior designer.
Degree in building engineering (Master degree certificate or equivalent working experience) and the experience of working with a design and construction of retail projects.
Passion for sustainability and knowledge about the sustainable design and Life Cycle Assessment or BREEAM.
Proven track record of place making through delivering urban design projects in complex city environments
Proven track record of making successful retail destinations in the city environments
 

Furthermore

You have a solid retail background with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the business. You have experience from different fields and can link them to retail architecture.

The Integration Delivery Teams are part of the IKEA Product Information Management programme (IPIM) in IKEA of Sweden. We develop and run integrations as a service, enabling a structured exchange of data both internally in the IKEA IT landscape and to external IT landscapes.

Lead and manage deliveries of large and complex deliveries of integrations as part of major projects and initiatives across the IKEA IT landscapes and across multiple development teams.

As a delivery lead, you will be overall responsible for the deliveries of integrations from a delivery team. This includes:
Plan, lead and follow up deliveries from a delivery team, from integrated solution design, through development, test, and deployment to run and lifecycle management in production
Engage with external and internal stakeholders to meet expectations on a delivery such as requirements, time, quality, competence and support
Forecast and follow-up of time and cost for the deliveries
Plan and lead activities for operating and maintaining integrations, such as incident & problem management and creation of lifecycle management plans

You will be located in Älmhult (Sweden).

Solution Area Purchasing & Supplier Development (PSD) is looking for a new Solution Architect to join and strengthen our team.
 
The assignment:
·      Responsible for detailing IT functional and non-functional requirements for given business requirements in the business solution delivery process and project management (support with clarifying business requirements if needed)
·      Secure that IT solutions fulfil the agreed functional and non-functional business requirements
·      Secure, develop and review high-level design. Approve low-level design of the implementation of a business transformation with an IT component in order to support running business, provide guidance towards service improvements and service transition
·      Govern that the design of the solutions conforms to the solution architecture and is efficient, meet business requirements and based on a holistic architecture
·      Is responsible for securing the architecture vision and goals of the Purchasing area in the solution architecture and the system development process
·      In a close dialog with stakeholders create and shape business and IT-related ideas into current state, future state and transition states to guide the detailed design and delivery of business solutions
·      In close collaboration with IT architects lead solution activities within the domain, establish solution/infrastructure design on different levels in accordance to the domain architecture and provide technology advice.


Are you the right candidate?
·      We believe you solid experience of IT development processes and of solution architecture concepts.
·      We believe you are experienced in using models, methods and tools within analysis and design and have good knowledge of general IT frames e.g. standards, infrastructure and platforms, frameworks, development concepts and processes. Positive if you have experience from TOGAF framework.
·      You have excellent analytical skills. You are able to see the big picture as well as the details and to structure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of them.
·      You are able to interact with strong stakeholders – understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you.
·      You are able to work in an environment where the pre-conditions may change from one day to another and where we need to deliver these changes with short notice in order not to risk breaking laws and agreements.
·      You have experience from global implementation projects or larger solutions/platforms used in a global environment.
